As players explore the vast world ofThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, they will find some shrines shining on the horizon a good distance away; some shrines inTears of the Kingdomwill take a little more creative investigation to find.Otak Shrineis tucked deep in the furthest northwestern corner of Hyrule and requires the completion of another challenge after players locate it.

Otak Shrine Location
Players will begin their search for Otak Shrine in the northwestern corner of the map near the Icefall Foothills. It will be quite a trek to reach the foothills, and players should adequatelyprepare for blizzards and cold temperatures.
The shrine will be under the mountain and will not be visible from the outside. Players should make their way to the entrance ofIcefall Foothills Cave.Its coordinates are -4424, 3779, 0225.
Players will find the entrance to the cave on the backside of the mountain covered by ice and need touse a source of fireto melt it away.
Once inside the cave, there will be many more blocks of ice, some containing Bokoblins. Players should proceed to the back of the cavern and melt the ice blocking a deeper chamber where they will find a floor of ice. Jumping on this ice several times will cause it to break and Link to fall to the cave below.
After defeating the Bokoblins in this room of the cave, players should look up toward the top of the wall to see the familiar glow of a shrine behind yet another block of ice. After melting away the ice, players can enter the shrine and try their hand at the Proving Grounds challenge.
Otak Shrine Walkthrough
Upon entering the shrine, Link will be stripped of all his weapons and armor. However, the shrine does provide a handful of wooden tools for players to use. There are six Constructs within the shrine that players will need to defeat: two on the left, two on the right, and two in the back of the room.
The theme of the Proving Grounds challenge is traps, so several are set up around the room. From lanterns hanging over piles of leaves to precariously perched boulders, there are many traps players can lay for their opponents. Alternatively, there is always the option to use brute force and fight the Constructs head-on.
Successfully defeating all the Constructs will return Link’s items and open up the door to the statue room. For their efforts, players can find aMighty Construct Bowin a chest beforeclaiming their Light of Blessing.
