A Reddit user went online to show their impressive pogo stick, which lifts them to the skies above Hyrule’s land. It seems to be composed of a rectangular chamber, a spring, two Zonai fans, and a steering stick. There are four cannons pointed down inside this chamber, which protects the player from the explosion. It allows them to take a lot of massive leaps until they reach the highest point of the game’s map. Despite its bulky design, the vehicle makes use of a simple mechanic to bounce the player up and down. The main component of this build is the Zonai spring, which converts the energy of the explosion into a vertical movement. It can be collected fromDevice Dispensers located across the Sky Islands.
FellowTears of the Kingdomplayers on the Reddit thread were impressed by this vehicle, with some joking that the game has been turned intoKerbal Space Program. When asked how long it took to hit the highest point in the sky, the pogo stick creator said they couldn’t go further five minutes after the launch.
Tears of the Kingdomexpands on Hyrule’s map with new regions, including a network of caverns called The Depths. Players can reach these underground sections by simply jogging, but it would be much easier with a makeshift vehicle made ofTears of the Kingdom’s Zonai devices. Vehicles not only get players from one place to another but also eliminate nearby threats with their collection of weapons. For example, a small pickup turns into a tank when combined with rockets, bombs, or beam emitters. Players are also free to use vehicles for entertainment purposes, such as setting up a racing tournament, climbing a mountain, or smashing hordes of enemies.
