How to Change Color & Theme

When navigating through Settings on the Xbox Series X and Series S, players will see an option for Personalization. In this menu, players can choose to customize the guide, their profile, andthe background of their Xbox. Backgrounds are highly customizable as players can either use their own images or art from achievements they have earned. One of the more noticeable features that can be changed is the color and theme.

When players select the accent color option, they have 21 different options to choose from. This choice determines the color of boxes, the notification symbol, and the color of the border around whatever players have selected. Theme changes if the dashboard is light or dark. In the screenshots of this guide, the setting used was dark.

How to Customize Profile

Under Profile, players have the option to customize how their profile will look to other players. This includes information like location, biography and even the gamerpic. Xbox Series X and Series S give players many options to choose from in alarge gallery of gamerpicsthat come with the console.

In addition to all of this, players can change their gamertag and the theme of their profile. Profiles can feature a wide variety of colors along with themes based around popular Xbox games likeHaloandMinecraft.

How to Customize the Guide

When players press the glowing Xbox buttonon the Xbox controller, the Guide will open up on the left-hand side of the screen. While there is not a lot that can be done with the Guide as far as customization goes, players can adjust the order of the icons. For example, if players wanted their messages to be on the far left instead of the middle, they have the option to adjust that.

How to Customize the Home Screen

Finally, the last thing that can be customized onthe Xbox Series Xand Series S is the Home screen. This is the first thing players will usually see once the console has been booted up. In the lower-right corner of the screen, there is an option to customize the Home screen. Players can pin games and apps so that they can be accessed quicker. So with all of these features, players can really make their Xbox Series X/S their own.
