Since Encore’s playstyle largely depends on her Resonance Liberation (Ultimate), 2pc Moonlit Clouds is also a decent option to ensure her Ult is always available in each rotation. 5pc of this Echo is not viable as it’s supportive, not offensive.
The main Echo for Encore should beInferno Rider, which can be absorbed from the open-world boss. This Echo deals large Fusion damage upon transforming, and after the final hit, the current character will gain Fusion and Basic Attack DMG buff.Players can call upon their friendsif the boss proves to be too difficult to beat.
Best Encore Weapons In Wuthering Waves
The current best weapon for Encore inWuthering Wavesis theCosmic Ripples. It gives ATK% on its substat and offers Energy Regen on its passive. After hitting enemies with Basic Attacks, the weapon also increases Basic Attack DMG, perfect for Encore’s playstyle, as her DPS mostly comes from her Basic hits.
For 4-star equipment,Augmentis easily the best, although it requires players to buy the Battle Pass, which may not be an option for F2P Rovers. As an alternative,Jinzhou Keeperis a decent option, if one is lucky enough to get it from the Gacha system.
Players who aren’t relying on luck can opt for eitherRectifier of NightorGuardian Rectifier, both of which are close to each other in terms of performance. Guardian Rectifier has an easier buff but is limited to Basic and Heavy Attack, whereas Rectifier of Night boosts ATK for all of Encore’s hits, but it only lasts 10s after Intro Skill is released. 10s may not be enough, considering Encore’s Ultimate alone lasts for 10s. Rectifier of Night also demands players to ensure Intro Skill triggers while swapping Encore to take the field.
How To Play Encore In Wuthering Waves
Encore is amain DPS inWuthering Waves. Her damage increases greatly once she uses her Ultimate, which enhances all of her moves. Therefore, having sufficient Energy Regen or sources is important for her.
Almost all of Encore’s hits increase her Forte Gauge, which is calledMayhem. When the bar is full, players can use Encore’s Heavy Attack (long press Basic Attack) to deal a large DMG in an AoE (this hit is considered Resonance Liberation DMG). Activating Mayhem state during her Ultimate also enhances the damage dealt.
Encore takes a few solid seconds when she casts her Mayhem, so it’s a good idea toswap to another characterto not waste time. Don’t worry as the Mayhem state won’t be interrupted even if you switch to another character.
