While most content will still be available, certain achievements, mounts, and other rewards, such as the Voyaging Wilderling and the Reins of Anu’relos, will be impossible or extremely difficult to obtain afterthe release ofWorld of Warcraft:The War Within. Starting July 30, fans at level 10 and above can participate in the Raidant Echoes event to battle memories of iconic moments and bosses from Azeroth’s history in Dragonblight, Dustwallow Marsh, and the Searing Gorge. Portals in Dalaran allow players to quickly travel to and from the event stages, allowing them to easily collect and spend Residual Memories – the currency for the event – to buy catch-up gear and exclusive cosmetics.
The maintenance period fortheWorld of Warcraft: The War WithinPre-Patchwas just extended by a few hours, but fans should be able to start playingWorld of Warcraftagain very soon. That said, players should be aware that logging in the first time will take a little longer this time, as the Warbands conversion process can take 20 minutes or more to complete.
