The release of Netflix’s adaptation starring Henry Cavill sparked renewed interest in its characters, leading toWitcher 3Mods turning Yennefer and others into their Netflix counterparts, but there is also now a mod for those who feel Yennefer is Geralt’s one true romantic partner.
Created by Julia Barcelos for a livestream conducted by Portuguese news site O Megascopio, this project was uploaded to Nexus Mods on July 29. It replacesWitcher 3character models of six “quest-related” romance options: Syanna, Shani, Triss, Jutta, Keira, and Sasha. In the comments of the post, Barcelos said they have an issue picking anyone but Yennefer as a romantic partner for Geralt because of how engrained the pairing is through the original Polish novels.

While perhaps not as useful as mechanic-focusedmods likeThe Witcher 3Redux 3.2, which offers balance patches through a “lore-friendly gameplay overhaul,” this Yennefer romance mod should speak to players who can’t get enough of the raven-haired sorceress. It also replaces any nudity with Yennefer’s lingerie model, stemming from its original purpose as part of a livestream on YouTube.
For any players who are interested in downloading the replacement mod, Barcelos recommends downloading a few other aesthetic mods to prevent issues such as Yennefer’s base outfit clipping through Syanna’s red cloak. There are also a huge number of modifications available online to augment the experience further, such as oneWitcher 3mod that completely overhauls its visual assets.
The Witcher 3is popular enough that fans have taken to using its world for other projects beyond those related to adjusting the game. For instance, one player usedThe Witcher 3’s Blood and Wine DLC to create atreadmill exercise routine across Toussaint.
