Because the circle can shift, his strategy requires players to be brave when it comes to dealing with the infamous gas. The video demonstrating Reddit user EquinsuOchaACE’s strategy starts with him having the high ground and being the last alive in their trios squad. After gunning down an unsuspecting player they are forced to retreat after the victim’s allies rally together. Running across the roof he armors up and allows the gas to surround him. Turning, he can see the last squad running into the safe zone so he pulls out a cluster strike, aims slightly ahead, and gives them a deadly choice. Either run into thefinalWarzonegas circleor continue advancing into the oncoming cluster strike. As two of them die to the gas he guns down the final one relying completely on his health pool to keep him alive.
Most players lack the confidence to stay in the gas for long periods of time. The gas can deal massive amounts of damage and ignores plates, resulting in a very small window of survival. Mix the bravery with good positioning and anyone can see the open opportunity for a cluster strike that brought this player a win.
It should be noted that the cluster did not actually score kills. The point was to act as a force for map control rather than a weapon. By placing the cluster ahead of the squad he drove them back into the gas preparing them for an easy and final cleanup.
