Last week, user-createdFar Cry 5levels modeled after the classic James Bond gameGoldenEyewere removedfrom the game due to a copyright claim, following Redditor Krollywood sharing the creation online. TheGoldenEyelevels started to generate buzz after websites began reporting on them, which apparently led to the levels being pulled in the first place. However, it appears that they’re available once again.

First spotted by Eurogamer, Krollywood offered a brief update on his creation in the original Reddit post’s comments section, stating that the levels are once again live onFar Cry 5’s Arcade, though they’re now under a different name. Unfortunately, it appears that the levels aren’t available on Xbox quite yet, as Krollywood has yet to find someone to port them to the platform.

Those that want to check out the levels should search for the level name"Golden Cry" on PC, or searching for the creator name “Perfect-Dark1982” on PS4. Doing so should bring up the new levels, though it isn’t clear how long they’ll remain live. With just the names being changed, it seems like a copyright strike will result in them being pulled once again, so fans may want to check them out while they still have the opportunity to.

Krollywood spent3 years on theGoldenEyeremakeinFar Cry 5,which is a significant time investment for the creator to spend on something that could be taken away in a flash. However, the levels are a great trip through memory lane, being excellent recreations of each level in theFar Cry 5engine. Plus, Krollywood apparently has a few backups for the levels made, so even if they’re pulled again they aren’t necessarily gone forever.

Since it launched,Far Cry 5’sArcadehas been home to many interesting creations, with fans being given the tools to flex their creative muscles to come up with interesting levels. In a way, it’s similar toDreams,Media Molecule’s game creation game, just using the bits and pieces already included withFar Cry 5and a few other Ubisoft games.

WithFar Cry 6releasing in just a few months, it’s unclear how well the community will continue to support the Arcade mode with official new content for them to enjoy out in the wild. Hopefully, though, there will still be room for creators to cobble remakes of other great games, even if it lands them in some copyright law trouble.

Far Cry 5is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
