The first Tokyo Wonder Festival of the year took place yesterday, andHorizon Zero Dawnmade an appearance among the many franchises showcased. Fans attending the event got a personal look at garage kits of bothAloyand a Stalker machine.

Since the term “garage kit” obviously isn’t familiar: it refers to handmade scale model figures of fictional characters– typically from anime, video games, and movies. The Tokyo Wonder Festival showcases new garage kits every year from a variety of different artists and companies, and this year happened to reveal two newHorizon Zero Dawninspired models created by Prime1Studios.

Aloy’s model sees her surrounded by her spear and Bluegleam crystals from the Frozen Wilds. She’s striking a dynamic pose that gives the illusion of her twisting on the spot to shot down a pursuing enemy. Interestingly enough, the bow Aloy’s using for the task isn’t one player’s can use in the game, but one dubbed “Aloy’s bow,” which appears in a Monster Hunter World event and in the 2015 E3 Horizon Zero Dawn trailer. She’s also rocking her special Sheild Weave armor in the model, which makes her virtually invincible in-game and can only be obtained by meeting specific criteria.

The second model features a Stalker machine cresting a small hill and roaring. Admittedly, it isn’t as dynamic as Aloy’s. The Stalker’s ability to blend in with its surroundings and attack at the same time make it one of thedeadliest and most memorable machines inHorizon Zero Dawn. So it seems like a missed opportunity that nothing on the Stalker model is transparent to represent its signature ability. Still, the model does manage to capture the Stalker in great detail. And its position related to Aloy’s in the showcase makes the Stalker look like the enemy that Aloy’s firing at, which gives the model some zest.

Currently, the two models are pending review but have the potential to go on sale soon. They look like they would make nice additions to collections held by any hardcore fans of series. If anything, they’ll give fans something to admire while waiting for information onHorizon Zero Dawn’ssequel. Rumors point toward the game being in development, but nothing concrete has surfaced as of yet.Its been nearly three years since the game’s initial release, though, so something official may come down the pipeline soon, especially with next-gen consoles releasing this year.

Horizon Zero Dawnis available now on the PlayStation 4.
