Gamers who are hoping to embody the role of the villain inTexas Chain Saw Massacremight overlook Cook. His frail frame and broken broomstick handle might make players laugh him off. But when it comes to hunting down victims and hitting them hard, nobody does it as well as Cook.

With the right build choice, Cook actually hits as hard as Leatherface. Even better, he’s not as loud as Leatherface and can track enemies from nearly across the entire map. Family members that want to track every victim inTexas Chain Saw Massacrewill want to make sure Cook is on the team.
Skill Tree
There are some particular perks that Cook needs to become the deadliest character in the game. Thankfully, he doesn’t need any help from a random node to get all of those perks. By going right twice, then left, and then heading in either direction at the last branch, Cook picks up all three.

This direction also leads to a whopping 33 attribute points to spend which will also ensure that nobody can survive more than a few hits from Cook and they’ll have a nearly impossible task of running away from him as well. Going in the right direction in the skill tree makes him one ofthe best family members.
Perks
Vial-ent and Big Swings are damage increases. Big Swings drains stamina with each swing but it’s worth it to maximize the swings themselves. After gathering blood, use Cook’s Seek ability if a victim gets pinged, attacked them with the extra damage. If not, then go ahead andfeed Grandpa.
Prey Dive is unique to Cook and it makes him more than just Leatherface’s equal. When Cook spots a victim, he gets more stamina generating, allowing him to run further. Since he’s lean enough to fit through cracks and crevices, he can suddenly hunt down opponents that other family members can’t.
Attributes
To take downthe best victimsin a single burst, players will want to max out Cook’s Savagery attribute. This measures the total damage done and, when topped off, will give Cook as much damage as any other character in the game.

Cook’s Blood Harvesting attribute is fine as it is and will be plenty to keep Grandpa satisfied. So pour the rest of the attribute points into Endurance. This allows Cook to pursue victims and attack more frequently. Given his Seek ability, it can also enable him to run to a victim’s sound as soon as he hears it.
Ability Modifiers
The goal of Cook’s ability needs to be getting it to a state where he can track down the noise before it runs away. With two levels in Quicker Recharge Rate, Cook can use the ability frequently, constantly keeping an eye on his surroundings.
Increase Highlight Duration at level three is a big upgrade since the victims will be moving around, often quickly. Whenplaying with friends, teammates will be impressed by how Cook can hear the sound and arrive quickly at the victim’s location without even losing track of their escape attempts.
