There’s still a lot left forTekkenfans to learn about the new game, but in the meantime, it seems that the game’s base roster has leaked - in part, at least.

Some fans have been given the opportunity totestTekken 8ahead of launch. Cheat Engine was used to check the files for this build of the game, with a handful of unannounced characters mentioned. Specifically, theTekken 8roster leak suggests that Alisa Bosconovitch, Raven, Shaheen, Steve Fox, Yoshimitsu, and Zafina will be a part of the launch roster. It’s quite likely that theTekken 8roster will include even more characters beyond the ones listed in this latest leak, but fans will have to wait for more information to be sure.

In the meantime, 16 characters have been officially announced for theTekken 8roster so far. These include Asuka Kazama, Bryan Fury,Claudio Serafino, Hwoarang, Jack-8, Jin Kazama, Jun Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, King 2, Lars Alexandersson, Leroy Smith, Lili De Rochefort, Ling Xiaoyu, Marshall Law, Nina Williams, and Paul Phoenix.

So far, theTekken 8roster consists entirely of originalTekkencharacters. PastTekkengames have included guest fighters, but it seems as thoughTekken 8will not have any guest fighters at launch. That doesn’t mean guest fighters won’t be added to the game at some point down the line. Chances are good thatTekken 8will add guest fighters as DLC, but it’s anyone’s guess as to who will be featured.

The good news is fans should be able to look forward to moreTekken 8news in the very near future.Tekken 8will be featured at EVO this year, with the big fighting game event taking place from August 4 to August 6. Many fans will be keeping their fingers crossed for a release date announcement, but it remains to be seen just how bigTekken 8’s presence will be at the show.
