Like all ofthe best 2DMariogames,Super Mario Bros. Wonderis full of secrets and collectibles, encouraging completionists to explore every inch of every course and world that they find themselves in. Most courses have a plethora of collectibles for players to get their hands on, including the very first one, Welcome to the Flower Kingdom!
Although it serves more as one long tutorial forthe Elephant Suit powerup, those hoping to fully complete Welcome to the Flower Kingdom! will still need to keep their eyes peeled to ensure that they get every Flower Coin and Wonder Seed on offer. Some can only be reached with well-timed jumps, while reaching others will require players to break a block or two.
Welcome to the Flower Kingdom! 100% Completion
In order to fully complete the Welcome to the Flower Kingdom! course inSuper Mario Bros. Wonder, players will need to findtwo Wonder Seedsandthree Flower Coins, while also reaching the top of the flagpole at the end of the course. Being the very first course in the game, this is all relatively straightforward, but those having trouble can refer to the following guide for hints on where to find all of the collectibles that are on offer here.
Welcome to the Flower Kingdom! Flower Coin #1
Players will be able to find Welcome to the Flower Kingdom!’s first Flower Coin shortly afterbecoming an Elephantfor the very first time. It’s right there in plain sight, though players will need to destroy some blocks to get to it, which they can do by pressing the Y button in order to swing their character’s trunk.
Welcome to the Flower Kingdom! Flower Coin #2
A little further into the course, players will come to a fountain with a red block above it. Just past here, they’ll find a seed to the left of a shallow pool. If they splash it with water by pressing the Y button, some green pipes will come out of the ground, allowing them to spin jump off of them to reach the Flower Coin on top of the tree to their right. Alternatively, players can spin jump off of the Goomba as it passes beneath the tree.
Welcome to the Flower Kingdom! Wonder Seed #1
Not long after the checkpoint, players will come to an area with a row of green pipes and the game’s first Wonder Flower. After interacting with it, they’ll simply need to make their way to the right of the screen until they come to a fountain with the Wonder Seed floating above it.
Welcome to the Flower Kingdom! Flower Coin #3
Just before the end of the Wonder Seed section, players will come to an area with a long green pipe that moves along the ground like a snake. If they stand in the middle of the pipe while it’s moving, they’ll be lifted up into the air, allowing them to spin jump and grab the third and final Flower Coin that’s floating in the air above them.
Welcome to the Flower Kingdom! Wonder Seed #2
Players will get the final Wonder Seed in Welcome to the Flower Kingdom! after clearing the course. To get to the top of the flagpole, they’ll simply need to run along the green pipes and then spin jump at the end.
