Bethesda has confirmed thatStarfieldpreloads begin on August 17 for Xbox with Steam gamers able to preload starting August 30.Starfieldis expected to have a massive file sizeof around 125 GB, so it’s definitely great that fans are getting such a head-start when it comes to preloading. The officialStarfieldrelease date is September 6, giving fans plenty of time to preload, though it’s worth pointing out that some gamers will get to play as early as the night of August 31.
Starfieldearly accessis available to those who buy the Premium Edition of the game, which retails for $99.99. It lets fans jump in on August 31 or September 1, depending on where they live, giving fans almost a full week to play the game before its official release date on September 6.
