How to Complete the ‘Pam is Thirsty’ Quest

OnSummer 14 of Year 1, players receive a letter from Pam in their mailbox. The letter states that Pam is thirsty andcraving for a bottle ofPale Ale.This drink is different from regular, old Beer. Pale Ale is brewed using Hops instead of Wheat. To craft Pale Ale, players need two things: Hops and a Keg.

The Quest is saved in the player’s Journal and can be accessed whenever they are ready to complete it. Story Quests do not have a strict time limit or a penalty if players delete it from the journal without completing them.

Growing Hops

Hops are avegetable crop that can be grown only during Summer. To grow Hops, players need to plant aHops Starter. These can be purchased at Pierre’s General Store for 60 g, at JojaMart for 75 g, and occasionally from the Traveling Cart for 100–1,000 g. Players can also find Hops Starter at the Night Market on Winter 16 for 60 g.

When planted, a Hops Starter takes 11 days to fully grow into a mature plant, which yields Hops. Hops regrow in only 1 day after being harvested. This makes them a great investment for Summers.
