Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida and Iron Galaxy Studios boss Adam Boyes recreate their famous Xbox One diss from E3 2013. After the Xbox One faced criticism for its game sharing feature, Boyes and Yoshida were part of a video that told viewers how easy it is to share games on PS4, where Yoshida just hands a game case to Boyes.
With Sony and Microsoft about to start fighting over consolesales with the PS5 and Xbox Series X, Yoshida felt it was a good time for him and Boyes to make a new version for 2020. Yoshida posted a photo on Twitter of him “sharing a good time” with Boyes, passing something to Boyes' hands. Boyes also retweeted the post and said that he was “sharing the best time with my favorite sharer” at the event.

Fans seemed to enjoy the photo. The PS4 video was incredibly popular and many are glad to see that Yoshida and Boyes haven’t forgotten about it. The PS5 and the Xbox Series X are also going to battle overwhich console is most powerfuland which console has the best launch titles, and it seems that Yoshida and Boyes, who has since left Sony, are getting the fight started early. However, Yoshida may have wondered if he’d be criticized about the post and he has since deleted it.
With the PS5 and the Xbox Series X, there are going to be so many more features for Sony and Microsoft to fight over. One of these will be which console has the best game subscription service. Sony has PlayStation Now butXbox Game Passis incredibly popular and keeps on adding games.
There may also be a battle over backward compatibility. It has been confirmed that the Xbox Series X will offer a huge list of launch titles because of its backward compatibility but thePS5’s backward compatibility featuresare only rumored. The Xbox Series X will be able to offer players Xbox games, Xbox 360 games, and Xbox One games and it will be incredibly difficult for Sony to get that close.
Another fight that is being talked about is how Microsoft and Sony are purchasing game developers. Sonypaid millions of dollars for Insomniac Gamesand Microsoft has also purchased several developers. Having a long list of developers that can create games exclusively for a console is hugely important but it’s unlikely to be a major part of any joke PS5 video.
