Bread can be found just about everywhere inSkyrim; inns, houses, campsites, forts, and even dungeons can be sources of what seems to be a staple food in the region. Eating a loaf of bread in-game will only restore a measly two points of health, and while this doesn’t seem like much it can help the player survive long enough to get the last hit in a difficult fight.
Skyrimis a veritable sandbox that has endured in popularity for over a decade now; players are still finding new ways to play the game in 2023 thanks in no small part to the vibrant modding community. The game has also been known for glitching out, often with humorous consequences. Recently a player encountereda glitch that put the entire province of Skyrim underwaterand giving the game a horror-like atmosphere, however the NPCs continued to go about their business as if nothing was amiss.

A Reddit user by the name of AlainasBoyfriend shared their bread collection online, asking other players what items they enjoy collecting. The bread collection consists of dozens of loaves, which is a fair amount; arguably much more than a player would pick up inadvertently during the course of normal play. It’s a humble collection compared to that of anotherSkyrimplayer who collected an unfathomable amount of potionscausing their game to destabilize, but it is an interesting collection nonetheless.

Bethesda has confirmed thatThe Elder Scrolls 6is in development, but has given no indication of when players can expect it to arrive. With some playersmaking new discoveries after thousands of hours inSkyrim,it’s probably safe to say that the community is content with waiting a little longer. At the very least, this gives players more time to collect bread.
