Reddit user KubatiTheMage recently shared their impressive final project for a woodworking class, aSkyrimArcane Enchanter. Like inSkyrim, the wooden Enchantment table features a skull and rows of candles leading to a central spherical light. Another commonality that the table shares is there are two woodendragon heads that are jutting out of either side of the table. TheseSkyrimdragonshave bodies carved into the wood that perfectly align with the illuminated candles, reaching the skull in the middle. Although theSkyrimEnchantment table typically has a skull head underneath the glowing globe, KubatiTheMage’s version has a plastic human-like skull that has been painted.
According to KubatiTheMage, the wooden Arcane Enchanter is their new gaming desk. Given that the back of the table has curved arches like theSkyrimArcane Enchanter, this may help with cable management. While KubatiTheMage’s project has wavy wood on the right and left of the table, it doesn’t wrap down a central leg because of its slightly different design. The table is cut in a pentagonal shape to match the in-game enchanter, but it doesn’t feature the star with the symbols representingSkyrim’s various schools of magic. MultipleSkyrimfans have expressed interest in buying a similar table from KubatiTheMage, but the woodworking student hasn’t clarified if they’ll replicate the build.
BecauseSkyrimis the only title in the franchise to use the Arcane Enchanter for improving gear, KubatiTheMage’s table won’t be confused as something from adifferentElder Scrollsgame. Given that theSkyrimEnchantment table has a much darker look than KubatiTheMage’s version, the aesthetic changes may have been necessary for their intent to use it as a gaming desk.
Skyrimis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and some legacy consoles.
