ASims 4player has shared their recreations of some iconicSpongeBob SquarePantshouses in the game. According to the user, the build was completed without the use of anySims 4mods, making it all the more impressive.

The Sims 4fans have always been extremely creative with their builds across the years. The game offers players the perfect canvas to build the home of their dreams, and some take it to a brand-new level. OneSims 4player even turned every Taylor Swift album into themed bedrooms, showcasing how versatile the color palette of the game can be in the hands of a skilled user. Seeing what players can create within the confines of the game will never get old, and is a big part of the reason the series holds a monopoly on the life-simulator genre.

This particular creation comes from Redditor SarahSweetsSims, who shared some images of her builds with the game’s community. The user currently only has three houses in the series, with SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward’s homes all featured. However, they are planning to build more in the future, so it’s possible that iconic locations such as the Krusty Krab and the Chum Bucket will soon be usable inThe Sims 4. The builds themselves are great, blending the hand-drawn and 3D cartoon aesthetics of both franchises perfectly. There are even some small creative liberties taken to make them actually playable for those that choose to download the builds.

Gamers particularly enjoyed their version of Patrick’s home, which is famously just a rock in the TV series. One user even said, “why did I expect so much from Patrick’s Rock?” However, according to SarahSweetsSims, it actually has a fully decorated interior too, which they claim is much more impressive to look at. Sadly there aren’t any images of the interiors, so hopefully the user decides to share them in the future. ThisSpongeBobrecreation definitely joins theSims 4Whiterun recreation fromSkyrimas an instant classic build.

With theupcomingSims Project Rene, hopefully Maxis allows the game to retain its classic cartoony style that has become such a staple of the franchise. It would be a shame for the series to go down a more realistic route. While interesting builds such as theseSpongeBobhomes would still be created by the community, there’s an undeniable charm about the aesthetic of the series that only ever adds to fan-made creations.

The Sims 4is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
