Since the release of Chapter 5 Season 3, there have been numerous leaks as to what the next season could give fans. AWolverine and Deadpool collabhas been rumored to be coming for Season 4, along with a rework of Wolverine’s claws as a potential returning mythic weapon.
In a leaked codename from Shiina on Twitter, aFantastic Fourcharacter’s powers may be coming as a mythic inFortnite. The codename “IllusoryWalls” was found withinFortnite’s files by Shiina and could possibly be a hint towards Susan Storm, also known as the Invisible Woman. Shiina and other leakers seem to believe amajor Marvel collaborationis coming toFortnitein Chapter 5 Season 4. Gameplay codenames are usually used for big season features, such as mythics, and this codename may be no exception. “Illusory” matches Susan Storm’s powers of invisibility, while “walls” match her force fields and shields that she can summon.
Chapter 5 Season 4 of Fortnite May Follow a Marvel Theme
Marvel collaborations withFortnitehave been a regular thing since Chapter 1 Season 4, so it would make sense for another Marvel-themed season to come soon. Doctor Doom was another skin that was named in arecent survey sent to fans ofFortnite. Perhaps theFantastic Fouris slated to be a major part of Chapter 5 Season 4. Doctor Doom is a notorious villain of theFantastic Fourseries, the same one the rumored Susan Storm mythic is from.
Chapter 5 Season 3 has introduced a lot of new items and a major collaboration withFalloutalready. ThenewFortnitemechanic of Nitrohas been heavily ingrained in the theme of the season. Some fans are eager to see how Marvel crosses over once more, with an apocalyptic-themed Magneto skin being part of the battle pass this season. Vehicles have received major upgrades, with some players deeming them too overpowered. However,Fortniteis rumored to be unvaulting some new weapons and items that may help players deal with vehicles soon. The Boom Bolt and Nitro Fists can deal massive amounts of damage that could help players deal with modded vehicles. Chapter 5 Season 3 lasts until August 16, when servers will go offline at 2am ET.
