While it’s been known about for some time, DICE and EA just recently acknowledged the upcomingBattlefield 6, set to launch later this year. DICE teased thatBattlefield 6will have epic-scale warfare and promised to reveal more soon, but further details have yet to be revealed. While fans are waiting for more substantial news onBattlefield 6, it turns out that they may actually not have to wait all that much longer.

Industry insider Roberto Serrano recently sent out a tweet tellingBattlefieldfans to mark their calendars. According to Serrano, EA and DICE will confirm the reveal for thenewBattlefieldgamein three days on April 30. After that, the reveal itself will take place on May 7 in the form of a trailer. Serrano previously made the claim that the nextBattlefieldreveal would happen on May 7 and went as far as to say that the reveal would happen at 1pm PT.

Serrano has accurately leaked information in the past, but he’s also been incorrect about some things as well. Considering this, fans should take this information with a grain of salt until the official announcement is made. Regardless, withBattlefield 6supposedly eyeing a 2021 release, the reveal is bound to happen soon, even if it doesn’t happen on May 7 as Serrano has predicted.

While official information on the newBattlefieldgame is hard to come by, leakers have teased what fans can expect from the game. If the leaks are to be believed,Battlefield 6might be a next-gen only game, and it may not even be titledBattlefield 6. There’s apparently a good chance thatBattlefield 6will simply be called “Battlefield' instead.

Other rumors suggest thatBattlefield 6will have a battle royale mode, as well as a new level of destructibility. Tom Henderson, regular leaker ofCall of DutyandBattlefieldinformation, has teased that the newBattlefield’s destructibility allows players to level multiple buildings. And it won’t just be players themselves causing the destruction. According to the leaks,Battlefield 6will have natural disastersthat can ravage the multiplayer maps.

Again, none of this information has actually been confirmed by anyone official, so fans should keep their expectations in check. What is clear, though, is thatBattlefield 6is in active development and will be releasing at some point later this year, barring any delays. Once the proper reveal takes place, it will be interesting to see how many of these rumors turn out to be true.
