Summary

InSkyrim, “Active Effects” is a category of magic that includes permanent buffs such as increased armor rating, sneak effectiveness, and magic efficiency, as well as negative aspects like diseases and racial weaknesses that can make the character less resistant to destruction magic or impact health and stamina.

While some positive Active Effects are also granted via diseaseand racial bonuses, for players who value grinding and take pride in earning their own perks, completing quests for rewards can be more satisfying.
