There is plenty ofPokemon-centric media for fans of the series to enjoy, from video games to comic books and TV shows. Today, The Pokemon Company released thePokemon TVapp for the Nintendo Switch.
Available on mobile devices as well as the Switch, thePokemon TV appis an all-in-one service that allows fans to watch all sorts of differentPokemonmedia in one place. The app has been available for mobile download since 2019, however, today it finally launched on the Switch as a free download.

The Pokemon TV App isfull of Pokemon contentranging from full seasons of the anime to shorter, five-minute Pokemon Kids TV episodes that feature things like fun dances and lullabies. While not every episode of the show is available, the app has episodes from 11 seasons ranging from the very first episodes of the Indigo League to more recent episodes fromPokemon Journeys.
Although not everything is entirely up to date with the most recentepisodes of thePokemonanime, there’s plenty of content available to get fans started. The Pokemon Company updates the content on the app periodically, so there’s frequently new content to check out when the app is opened.
Fans of thePokemonvideo games and TCG are able to enjoy the app as well as it features recordings of events such as the Pokemon Players Cup 1, 2, and 3 as well as thePokemon World Championships2019. For those looking to get into thePokemontrading card game, the app also features videos that serve as tutorials for deck building and tips and tricks taught by popularPokemoncard players.
Unfortunately,Pokemoncards have been notoriously hard to purchasedue to an unprecedented rise in demand for new cards. While that may be a detractor for new fans of the game, hopefully, the easy-to-follow tutorials featured on the Pokemon TV app can still guide fans who’ve managed to buy new packs.
There has been plenty ofPokemonnews over the last few months as The Pokemon Company gears up toreleasePokemon Brilliant DiamondandShining Pearl. The remakes are giving fans a taste of the Sinnoh region introduced in the original Diamond and Pearl DS games beforePokemon Legends: Arceusreleases. The game is something of a prequel to the entire series and is also set in the Sinnoh region. Luckily, however, fans looking to brush up on the anime that follows Ash and Pikachu’s journey through Sinnoh can watch all four seasons on the Pokemon TV app.
