Typhlosion was in turn preceded by Samurott and Decidueye, and each featured a Tera type that was stronger than the secondary types of their Hisuian variants, such as the Ghost-type and the Bug-type. However, the next seven-star Tera raid boss will feature a new Tera type forPokemon Scarlet and Violettrainers to deal with.RELATED:Pokemon Fan Creates Paradox Form for SkarmoryAccording to Serebii.net, the eighthPokemon Scarlet and Violetseven-star Tera Raid battle will be against Inteleon the Unrivaled, and it will have the Ice-type as its Tera type. The battle will begin on Friday, April 28, at 00:00 UTC, and conclude on Sunday, April 30 at 23:59 UTC. The following weekend, from May 5 through May 7, trainers will have another chance to battle and catch Inteleon. Known as the Secret Agent Pokemon, Inteleon first appeared inPokemon Sword and Shield. It will be the second starter from the Galar region to be featured as a seven-star Tera raid boss, joining Cinderace the Unrivaledin the ranks. Originally a Water-type starter, Inteleon boasts high speed and special attack, making it a special sweeper on most teams.
Like other seven-star Tera raid bosses, Inteleon will have access to its Hidden Ability, which will be Sniper. In battle, Sniper boosts critical hit damage by an additional 50%. While its complete set of moves is not known at the time of writing, Inteleon will utilize Water-type and Ice-type moves such as Snipe Shot, Ice Beam, and Hydro Cannon to take advantage of both Sniper and its special attack stat. Inteleon is also capable of using Rain Dance, Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball, and Air Cutter for type coverage, soPokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers will need to bear that in mind. However, Ice-type Pokemon are weak against Fire, Fighting, and Rock-type attacks. This means thatPokemon such as Iron Hands, Samurott, and Quaquaval may work against Inteleon the Unrivaled, depending on the moves it will utilize.
The battle against Inteleon the Unrivaled will not be the only one thatPokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers will have to take on soon. Starting in May,Walking Wake and Iron Leaves will returnto five-star Tera raid dens for two weeks. All in all, more tough battles await in the Paldea region.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violetare available now for Nintendo Switch.
