WithinPokemon Legends: Arceus, there are a multitude of sidequests players can take. NPCs with a black/white Poke Ball icon over their head indicate they have a Request for trainers. As the main Missions/story ofPokemon Legends: Arceusprogresses, more Requests become available. Each Request has different rewards. While they’re not necessary to complete the game, completing them can be beneficial as most of the rewards can be used when catching Pokemon.
Once trainers are directed to the Crimson Mirelands, they’ll be able to acceptRequest 30: A Beautiful Rose…fromBerraat theMirelands Camp. Trainers need to catch a Roselia, complete its Pokedex entry, and then show the entry to Berra. Completing this Request rewards 5 Grain Cakes and 2 Exp. Candy S.

Getting Roselia
There are two different ways to get Roselia in the Crimson Mirelands.
One way is to catch the Budewnear the Mirelands Campand evolve it into Roselia. To evolve Budew, trainers need to raise its Friendship and then level it up onceduring the day.To check Friendship Level, speak to Belaney near the Pasturesin Jubilife VIllage.

Since Friendship takes a while to grow, it’s easier to just find a Roselia and catch it instead. Roselia can be found in theCloudpool Ridgewhich is justsouth of the Brave Arenawhere trainers willhave to fight the second Noble Pokemon. There are many Roselia’s roaming around, so sneak up on one and catch it. Occasionally, there’s an Alpha Roserade nearby, so be careful when exploring the Cloudpool Ridge.
Completing Request 30
Once trainers have Roselia, the next step is getting its Research Level to 10. To view Roselia’s research tasks, open up the Pokedex by tappingdown on the D-pad. Roselia is in the Crimson Mirelands, so click ZR/ZL to scroll to the right category.
The quickest way to fill out its Pokedex entryis by defeating Roselia’s with Psychic-type moves. Its research tasks: “Number defeated” and “Number you’ve defeated with Psychic-type moves” can be accomplished simultaneously if sending out a Pokemon with Psychic-moves to knock it out.
Trainers can find Ralts and Kirlia in the Crimson Mirelands, but thanks to the Ralts-line’s dual Psychic/Fairy-type, it will be weak against Roselia’s Poison-type moves. The other option is to use a non-Psychic Pokemon, such as Dustox or Stantler, and send it out to defeat Roselia’s with Confusion.
Dustox and Stantler are Poison/Bug and Normal-type Pokemon respectively. Using Confusiondoes NOT give either one STAB, meaning it might take a little longer to defeat Roselia than it would if trainers were to use a Psychic-type Pokemon instead.
Once Roselia’s Pokedex entry reaches level 10, return to the Mirelands Camp and speak to Berra to complete the Request.
