This lucky catch was very rare, since Tandemaus may only be obtained from the Better Together Timed Research tasks or challenges in Party Play. Their dad inquired about increasing his chances ofevolving Tandemaus into Maushold inPokemon GO, which could come in the base form or the “Family of Three” form. Evolving Tandemaus into Maushold is rather straightforward, with only 50 Candy being required. However, the Family of Three form for Maushold is rather elusive, as some players have described.
Some players in thePokemon GOcommunity on Reddit claim the chances of evolving Tandemaus to the Family of Three version of Maushold is roughly one in a hundred duringthe Better Together event. Others claim that the chance of this evolution occurring is higher, at one in 25. Nonetheless, it remains clear that there’s a low probability of the Family of Three evolution occurring, so players can only hope for the best while completing various tasks and trying their luck with a newly acquired Tandemaus.
