Over the years,Pokemon GOhas evolved from a simple monster-catching AR mobile game to one that allows players from all over the world to join together tofight against powerful Raid Pokemon. But, despite numerous updates and QoL changes, Raids are still quite limited.

Fortunately, PokeRaid is an app that allows players to join any Raid in the world, thus letting players gain access to Pokemon that aren’t common in their area. So, players that want to reach their full potential as Pokemon trainers will want to use the PokeRaid app, alongsidePokemon GO.
PokeRaid App Explained
ThePokemon GORaid system is limited to friend Raid invitations, so while players can technically join a Remote Raid, they are still restricted to their Friend List. But, that’s where the PokeRaid App comes into play since it allows players to share all Raids in one app, letting people join Raids from anywhere in the world. Additionally, the PokeRaid app lets players auto-join Raids, meaning once a Raid or Mega Raid (like the Mega Blaziken Raid) starts, players will automatically join within the PokeRaid app. And the best part is that the PokeRaid App is available for Android and Apple devices.
How To Join PokeRaid
Before players can start using the PokeRaid app, they’ll need to register an account. After filling in the necessary information, players must screenshot their Trainer Homepage and unique Friendship QR Code fromPokemon GO. After the PokeRaid app has verified the account, players are ready to rumble in the Raid arena. Alternatively, players that have made an account in PokeTrade, PokeMatch, or PokeMate can use the same login details to create a PokeRaid account.
Joining A Remote Raid Through PokeRaid
While registering and verify a player’s account isn’t necessary, it does let the group know what they’re a serious Pokemon Raider and ready to take on challenging Raids,like the Legendary Terrakion Raid. Players can either select the Remote Raids found on the Home screen or use the filter (top left) and search for the Pokemon (and Tier) they want to enter. Once a player finds a Remote Raid Room they wish to join, they should press the “Join this Raid Room” button.
Once in the Remote Raid Room, players can send the request to the Raid Host and launchPokemon GO(players must accept their Friend Request and Raid Invitation). Additionally, players can see who else has joined the Remote Raid as well as their Raid Rating (only verified users can receive ratings). There’s also a nifty Counter tab that can guide players tobuild the perfect Raid teamfor that particular Raid.
Once the Remote Raid is completed inPokemon GO, players can leave feedback for the host if they want. By rating a Host, other players can have a rough idea if the Host is good or not.
How To Create Remote Raid Auto Join
Players can set up Auto Join by pressing the “Auto Join” button (bottom right). Trainers should now choose which Pokemon Raids they wish to Auto Join, and then hit Continue. Players should keep in mind it costs PokeRaid Coins to activate Auto Join. Players can earn PokeRaid Coins by purchasing them, hosting Raids, or daily rewards.
The final page of the Auto Join section will ask the player to select additional settings. Some of these settings cost extra PokeRaid Coins, so players should be careful not to activate all of them. Once everything is ready, players can hit the Auto Join button and wait for players to invite them into the selected Raids automatically (players must still accept the Friend Request and Raid Invitation in-game).
How To Host PokeRaid Remote Raid
Players that want to Host their own Remote Raid (orMega Glalie Raid) can do so by pressing the “Create a Raid Room.” Players will have to send a clear screenshot of the Remote Raid and upload it.
Players can then select how many Trainers they wish to invite and if the Raid is Weather Boosted. This will create a Remote Raid Room where players can chat and coordinate the Remote Raid. Hosting players should be sure to ask the lobby to rate them since that’s a good way of gaining a good Raid reputation and earning extra PokeRaid Coins.
