ThePokemonfranchise has always had strange Pokemon (especially from the 1st Generation). Pokemon like Probass, Honedge, and Yamask are among the weirdest (and perhaps ugliest) of all Pokemon, but not all weird Pokemon are necessarily ugly. Vanillish and Spoink are unique in appearance, but they remind fans of ice cream (Vanillish) and a piglet (Spoink). Some Legendaries also belong in the “weird” category but still have a pleasing aspect.

Meloetta is a Legendary/Mystic Pokemon closely resembling a humanoid singer, which is why some would classify them as weird. But, Meloetta is an excellent pick for players that want to enter the competitive scene since they boast a decent Special Attack. Fortunately,Pokemon GOfans can capture Meloetta by completing the special research quest “Finding Your Voice.”
Finding Your Voice - Part 1
The first set of objectives is quite straightforward and can be completed by a player in a relatively short period. To start, players should take a snapshot of their Buddy Pokemon (trainers can do this by navigating to the Buddy Menu and pressing the Camera icon). To make this objective ten times easier, players shouldturn off AR Modesince it doesn’t always work as intended.
The second objective involves catching 30 Normal Pokemon, which can be Eevee, Rattata, Sentret, or Bunnelby, among others. As for the final objective, players should evolve 15 Pokemon, preferably ones that only need 25 Candies, like Zubat or Eevee. The rewards for completing the 1st Part are x1,000 EXP, x1,000 Stardust, and an Eevee encounter (slight chance of it being shiny).

Finding Your Voice - Part 2
Players will need to use 30 Berries to help catch Pokemon to complete the first objective for Part 2. While that may seem like a lot, players can give multiple Berries to a Pokemon if they break free from the Poke Ball. So if a trainer gives a Pinap Berry to a Pokemon and tries to catch it, but it breaks free, they can throw another Berry at that Pokemon.

After completing that objective, players must earn five Candies while walking with their Buddy Pokemon. Some Pokemon only require 2km while others (Legendaries) require 10km, so it’s best to use Pokemon with the least km per Candy. Finally, players must give their Buddy Pokemon three treats (Berries or Poffin). Players will receive x1,000 EXP, x1,000 Stardust, and a Slugma encounter.
Finding Your Voice - Part 3
Now is time to test a trainer’s Pokemon since all three objectives involve battling other Pokemon. Winning three Gym battles can be difficult if a player lives in a highly competitive area, but for the most part, players should avoid any Gym with Metagross or Slaking since these are some ofthe best Gym Defenders.
Players should aim to join Raids with several players since that’ll make the battle more manageable, plus the rewards even better. Team Rocket Grunts frequently spawn during the day and usually have weak Pokemon, so defeating three of them should be a piece of cake. Upon completing the final objective, players will receive x1,000 EXP, x1,000 Stardust, and a Hariyama encounter.

Finding Your Voice - Part 4
The 4th Part of the Finding Your Voice special research quest seems daunting at first, but in reality, it’s quite easy to complete. First, players must earn 20,000 Stardust, which trainers can obtain in various ways (catching Pokemon, completing daily quests, Team Rocket Grunts, etc.). Players can also active Star Pieces to double their Stardust acquisition for a short period of time.

Players can also complete the second objective in a day or two since Pokemon spawns rotate throughout the day. But, players should remember that trading or hatching Pokemon doesn’t count toward the 30. And spinning three Pokestops needs no further explanation. The rewards for Part 4 are x2,000 EXP, x2,000 Stardust, and finally, Meloetta encounter.
Finding Your Voice - Part 5
Players will complete Part 5 in no time since the objectives are among the easiest of the entire special research. Players must take a snapshot of Meloetta to complete the first objective (remember to turn off AR mode). Then players will need to add a Friend to their Friends List, which can easily be done by searching online “Pokemon GO Friend Codes.”
And finally, players will need to send three Gifts to friends, which should be easy enough if a player has already completedother Special Research quests. Players will receive x5 Meloetta Stickers, x2,500 EXP, and x2,500 Stardust upon completing this step.

Finding Your Voice - Part 6
As usual, the final part of any special research is automatically completed, so players will only need to claim the EXP rewards (9,000 EXP). As for the final rewards, players will receive x1 Lure Module, x20 Meloetta Candies, and x3 Rare Candies.
