A new leak suggests that two fan-favorite characters could be coming toPersona 5 Tacticaas post-launch DLC. Anupdated re-release titledPersona 5 Royalcame in 2019, and the saga of the Phantom Thieves continued in a handful of spinoff games. The latest of these wasPersona 5: The Phantom X, a free-to-play mobile RPG that ran an open beta in China earlier this year.The Phantom Thieves aren’t slowing down anytime soon either, as yet anotherPersona 5spin-off was recently announced by Atlus earlier this month. TitledPersona 5 Tactica, this new game looks to combine theChibi-like visual style of thePersona Qserieswith the turn-based tactical gameplay ofFire Emblemas the Phantom Thieves are whisked to a strange, medieval world under the control of a sinister army. According to the post, these characters will be available in a DLC pack titled “Repaint Your Heart.” While this hasn’t been verified yet, the image indeed matches the art style ofPersona 5 Tactica, and the leaker who posted it had previously shared details aboutPersona 3 Reloadedbefore it was announced alongsideTacticaa few weeks ago.

Goro and Kasumi should be familiar to die-hardPersona 5fans.Goro Akechi was a charismatic teen detectivewho investigated the Phantom Thieves in their initial adventure, and temporarily joined the group toward the end ofPersona 5. Meanwhile, Kasumi Yoshizawa was introduced as a supporting character with her own plotline in the updatedPersona 5 Royaland played a major role in the game’s additional final act.

Given how significant both of these characters are inthe popularPersona 5universe, it might not come as a surprise that Goro and Kasumi are rumored to be DLC characters forPersona 5 Tactica. Of course, it’s worth repeating that this DLC pack hasn’t been officially confirmed, so fans should stay weary until Atlus makes a more concrete announcement about any post-launch content for the newestPersona 5spin-off.
