Palworld’s newest Xbox update has fixed a prevalent bug that was causing players to fall through the map under certain circumstances. Although the recent update isn’t the meatiest,Palworldhas plenty more in store for fans in the near future.
Recently, developer Pocket Pair confirmed that majornewPalworldfeatures will be showcasedat Summer Game Fest, which starts on June 7. This new content includes brand-new reveals along with “long-awaited features,” so it seems that fans have good reason to be excited about the event. Some of the new content has already been revealed, as unreleased Pal variants for Wixen and Katress were seen in a promotional image. In the meantime,Palworldfans can enjoy less flashy but still promising improvements.
FollowingPalworld’s newest update, Xbox players should no longer fall through terrain while in the desert city, which was previously caused by loading issues. Users have reported that the bug fix does in fact work, and the improvement also allows Xbox players to use the fast travel point near Paladius, which was also bugged for many users before the newest update. However, users report that the same issue of falling through the map still exists in the Astral Mountains, so players will need to wait for a future update until the issue is universally solved.
Palworld’s last update, which was released on May 13, included many more changes than just one. They mostly revolved around balancing adjustments, such as the HP of all Alpha Pals being increased and the damage reduction rate of enemy bosses being decreased. Also included in the older update was a bug fix for a UI issue that caused players to be notified every time someone in the server finished or failed a raid, along with many more “minor bug fixes.”
As forPalworld’s future, the game is set to receive a major update this summer that addsfour new Palsand a new island, which could also be showcased at Summer Game Fest. However, the update’s exact release date has not been confirmed yet.Palworld’s player count has steadily decreased on Steam following its viral launch, so Pocket Pair is likely focusing on promising features to help bring players back.
Later in 2024, Pocket Pair will also add aPvP arena forPalworld, assuming there are no delays. A short trailer for the unreleased feature showed two teams of Pals squaring off against each other in a Coliseum-like environment, as the Pal owners themselves also participated in the battle by fighting the opposing player’s team.
