Now, on the ever-growing list of problems, the devs may have to add a potential issue involving one ofOverwatch 2’s veteran heroes.

A fan on Reddit shared the clip of a match playing Cassidy, and the hero missed the ultimate in the most unlikely way possible. The player is in a quick play match when they find and take down an opposing D.Va. Cassidy moves forward and finds an enemy Soldier:76, and the player decides to use the hero’s ultimate, Deadeye, to eliminate the opponent.Cassidy can use Deadeyeto create really impressive plays, but for this player, unfortunately, that was not the case. Instead of eliminating Soldier: 76, Cassidy misses his ultimate at a really short distance and is eliminated.
The clip received over 5,000 upvotes and many comments where other users shared the player’s “pain.” They also said that the inconsistency of Cassidy’s ultimate is a recurring and well-known problem within the community. One of the comments also cited the content creator Marblr, who gave an in-depth analysis of how Deadeye works. WhileCassidy’s grenade is famously powerful, Marblr shows that yes, despite its name, Deadeye can miss a lot.
