A player has spotted a glitch inHogwarts Legacythat gives Deek the house-elf a suit of armor. Developed by Avalanche Software,Hogwarts Legacyallows players to take up classes in the famous school of Witchcraft and Wizardry in an open-world game set some 100 years before Harry Potter stepped foot in the famous building, and as they explore they have a chance to encounter funny bugs like this.

Since its release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S earlier in the year,Hogwarts Legacyis currently the bestselling game of 2023. The Warner Bros published game is currently facing stiff competition fromTears of the Kingdom, though with the multiplatform title seeing a bump in sales thanks to the release of the PS4 and Xbox One versions, and a Switch port currently in the works, it is safe to assume that fans of the Wizarding World will be enjoying lessons at Hogwarts soon.

One gamer over on Reddit has shared an interesting glitch that places Deek the Hogwarts house-elf in a weird situation. The user in question, ysaribidotexe, has shown the Deek in a suit of armor while helping the player with their Room of Requirement customization. The house-elf is shown with a grinning face and is coupled with the caption “Deek loves an outing.”

The comment has understandably garnered a few hilarious replies that focus on Deek being given clothes and becoming a free elf. Unfortunately for some, Deek’s new attire is a glitch, and he cannot be given a suit of armor during a normal playthrough. With that said, fans do still like to treat the miniature helper, with one playerbuilding Deek his own area in the Room of Requirement- though they have yet to see the house-elf take up residence in the area.

While players are enjoying everything Hogwarts has to offer, Avalanche Software is continuing to iron out bugs such as Deek glitching his way inside a suit of armor. The latest patch forHogwarts Legacywas recently released, which introduced several stability improvements and gameplay fixes within the game.

Hogwarts Legacyis out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, with a Nintendo Switch port set for release on November 14.
