Ninten Island, Nintendo’s officialAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsisland, has been updated. The update includes new items and seasonal furniture fromAnimal Crossing: New Horizons'2.0update.
The news comes from a tweet made by the official Nintendo of Europe account. Included are four screenshots showing off the redesigned island. Because it is part of the 2.0 update, it is accessible to players without theHappy Home ParadiseDLC.

Players can visit Nintendo’s very own island by punching in the correct Dream Address so long as they have an active Switch Online subscription. To access Ninten Island, hop in a bed and go to sleep. The Dream Address isDA-6382-1459-4417.
The screenshots show off a variety of new items on display. The first features an outdoor music concert complete with a company of gyroids sitting atop and surrounded byMariodecorations. The second screenshot shows off a garden with new plants, like tomatoes and wheat.
Next to the table is a dig spot that is driving more than one commenter nuts.The third screenshot spotlights a kitchenwith freshly made food, a hanging light, a music box, and more gyroids. It is quite the cozy scene indeed. The final screenshot shows off another outdoor scene with a smiling villager and visitor. Leaves gently fall to the ground and a bright blue train is on display.
Ninten Island was first unveiled in November 2020and saw its first update in May of this year. This time around, there’s a definite autumnal theme, coming in right before winter is about to hit the northern hemisphere. Comments around the web seem to be of the same opinion with the island appearing a bit sparse and “underwhelming” when compared to player islands. Still, it can be a good spot to visit to see some of the new items on display, download custom designs, and get some general inspiration on how to decorate an island.
Visiting a dream islandisn’t quite the same as visiting an island through the airport or boat. While players can explore the island, talk to villagers, and enter homes, they can’t shop, fish, learn new DIY recipes, or take any items that have been picked up back with them. Instead, Dream Islands allow players to show off their islands without worry of visitors destroying all of their hard work and looting everything that isn’t nailed down. While this can be appreciated, there are many that wish there was more interaction available within Dream Islands.
