Multiplayer action gameNinjalaannounced a crossover with hit anime franchiseAttack on Titan. First released in 2020,Ninjalarecently hit a milestone of 10 million downloads, and its developers wanted to celebrate it with this new collaboration.
Developed by GungHo Online Entertainment,Ninjalafeatures colorful, cartoon-style characters engaging in melee combat that uses a bubblegum system. The game is about to enter its 12th season, with more updates for weapon types, Shinobi Cards, and collaborations coming in the future. In the past,Ninjalahas had crossovers with some of the hottest anime franchises,likeRurouni KenshinandDemon Slayer, which included skins and cosmetics inspired by them.

To celebrateNinjala’s 10 million download milestone, GungHo Online Entertainment announced that it’s releasing anAttack on Titancrossover on March 15. In a Dev Diary video uploaded on YouTube featuring GungHo President and CEO Kazuki Morishita andNinjalaDirector Motoki Kaneda, it flashed a photo ofNinjalacharacters dressed up asAttack on Titancharacters Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackermann, Levi Ackermann, and more. Morishita and Kaneda said they’re hard at work in putting together items for the collaboration event, and that there will be more updates in the coming weeks. They also detailed that players will receive 1,000 free Jala gum when they log in between March 8 and April 26, and that there will be a limited-time sale in the Shinobi Shop during this period. There will also be a 10 Million Download Cup from March 11 at 6 p.m. to March 12 at 12 a.m. PST, a six-hour tournament where players can get increased drops.
In the comment section under the YouTube video, manyNinjalafans seem excited about theAttack on Titancrossover, expressing that they will save Jala gum, so they could buy the skins for their characters. Meanwhile, others threw out possible collaborations thatNinjalacould tap into in the future, likeDragon Ball ZandSplatoon.
Attack on Titanis an action-adventure manga-turned-anime where Scouts bravely fight against fearsome Titans beyond the Walls that humans inhabit, so it will be interesting to seeNinjala’s take on this popular franchise. Based on theNinjalaxAttack on Titanpromotional photo, it’s possible that devs are working onweapons inspired by the dual blades for battle, as well as omni-directional mobility gear to move around. And since there will be a skin based on the Armored Titan,Ninjalamight also come out with other Titan skins, which will add more fun to the game.
