On January 28, Myth tweeted out that his gray Audi S5 got stolen and asked his followers to keep an eye out for it around Los Angeles. In a video, he explained that he was supposed to go on a hike withQTCinderellaand other friends, but discovered his car gone from the driveway. He later filed a report at a police station and was told to notify authorities and not act alone if he happened to find the car.

Almost a full day later, Myth spotted the Audi while driving home and immediately called the police as instructed. After waiting for more than an hour for authorities to arrive, he decided to just take the car back, reminding himself that he needed to change the keys and check if there were any hidden cameras inside. In one reply to a follower, theYouTube streameralso admitted that he was scared of getting shot while trying to get his car back.

Many of Myth’s followers and friends sent him “W” tweets as they were happy and relieved that he was able to find his car. One user also reminded him to still notify the police and double-check that the vehicle was no longer marked as stolen. As of writing, Myth has not provided any updates on whether he’s got in touch with authorities again to apprehend the person(s) responsible.

While it’s still unclear if Myth’s situation was done by some sort of stalker, streamers and content creators often experience scary situations similar to this, perhaps even worse, due to doxing. One of the most common “pranks” is swatting, or the act of calling the authorities on a particular person, which has affected people like QTCinderella and Adriana Chechik.
