Like previous maps in the base version ofMonster Hunter Rise,Sunbreak’s Jungle maphas a sub-camp that players can set up. These camps act as fast travel points during quests, allowing hunters the chance to get to a particular spot on the map much quicker. It can be annoying to die during a quest to a tough monster, only to have to waste time racing back to where the fight was.
The Jungle map inSunbreakhas one sub-camp forMonster Hunter Riseplayers to unlock, and this guide will go over how to find it.
How to Unlock the Jungle Sub-Camp in Sunbreak
Locating the Sub-Camp
BeforeSunbreakplayers can take on thequest to set up the sub-camp, they will need to locate it on the map first. To get to the Jungle map, simply go on an expedition there or accept a Jungle quest from Chichae.
The location of the sub-camp is circled on the image below, and players can see on the map that there are a couple of horizontal lines where the camp is.
The best way to enter it is by heading to the northern section of the map and then climbing the wall to the south. The player should see a line of sparkling yellow bugs that give Kamura points when collected. Follow the path up the wall to find a small trail leading to the Sub-Camp.
After discovering the camp, a notification will appear on the screen from Arena Master Arlow, stating that that player needs to complete Oboro’s request to get the camp set up.
Oboro’s Request
Head back to the Elgado outpost and speak with Oboro the Merchant (there should be a blue text bubble by his name).

To get the camp set up, players will need to go back to the Jungle and slay 8 Hermitaur (the small crab-like monsters). A quick way to get this done is to just take on an expedition at the Jungle, kill the monsters, and then leave the area. They’re typically found along the beach.
Head back to Oboro to turn in the request, and, finally, the Jungle sub-camp will be unlocked and can be used the next time players are in the Jungle.
How to Fast Travel to the Sub-Camp
To travel to the newly acquired sub-camp, open the Detailed Map by hitting the + button (on Switch) and pressing Y. In the top-left corner, players will see the new camp and can fast travel there whenever they want to unless they’re in the heat of battle.
