Minecrafthas countless animals in the game, and this number seems to keep growing with each update, not to mention there are many different variants of each animal within the game as well. Some animals are in different game biomes, such as polar bears can be found in the snowy lands, but then red foxes can be found in the grassier biomes. If you want to find a white fox, players will need to explore the snowy biomes once again inMinecraft.
Axolotls are usually found around water, even if in a small area, and sometimes they can even be found in a cave. There are also many different variants of axolotls, including pink, brown, violet, and gold. Axolotls are a bit more of the rarer animals to find, so it raises the question if players can tame them.

Can Axolotls Be Tamed In Minecraft?
Axolotls are a bit different than other animals that can be tamed inMinecraft- basically, they cannot be tamed. That won’t stop players from being able to keep them as pets, though, or collecting and breeding them to have your very own axolotl farm in their very own pond in the backyard of your base.
If a player wants to catch an axolotl they find out in the wild, they can do so by making sure they have a bucket. Players can walk up to an axolotl with a bucket, and it will be collected into it with some water. Now, players can carry it around in their inventory just like that. However, if a player wants to catch more than one axolotl, they will need more buckets for each so they can each be scooped up into their own.
Now, when it comes to getting an axolotl to follow you orto breed with another close by axolotl, you will need Tropical Fish. These fish are different than most and can be found in the following biomes:Mangrove Swamps, Lukewarm Oceans, Deep Lukewarm Oceans, Warm Oceans, and Lush Caves biomes.
After feeding a Tropical Fish to an axolotl, it will trigger it to begin to breed with another one around it who had also just been fed a Tropical Fish as well. A baby axolotl will then spawn, and it can range from the variety of different colors that they come in. While these creatures cannot be tamed, they can still be kept by putting them in some water and letting them wander around a bit. Just verify they don’t suffocate between items; make sure it is fully safe for them.
