When it comes to choice-based narratives in gaming, a lot of fans will point to titles likeThe Walking Dead,The Wolf Among Us, andLife is Strangeas some of the key releases that define that genre. Created by French developer Don’t Nod Entertainment and published by Square Enix,Life is Strangeproved to be a unique storyabout a girl with time-bending superpowers who has to use those abilities to save the people around her and the small town of Arcadia Bay.

Releasing back in 2015, the game sold well enough to earna prequel game inLife is Strange: Before the Storm, which launched two years later. Compared to the first game,Before the Stormdidn’t earn as many favorable reviews, but both titles were considered detailed and engaging stories by both fans and critics. The originalLife is Strange, andBefore the Stormwere compiled into a new release announced back in 2021 entitled theLife is Strange: Remastered Collection.
