The Broken Puppet is an unusual NPC inLies of P. It doesn’t follow the Grand Covenant, thus, the Puppet has a mind of its own. The NPC is sad because it is shunned by everyone whether it’s a monster, human, or another Puppet.
People can help the Broken Puppet by being its friend andshowing it different Gestures inLies of P. This way, the NPC will learn about emotions and become a better Puppet. Each Gesture is rewarded from various Main Quests or Side Quests inLies of P.

Broken Puppet Quest In Lies Of P
To complete the Broken Puppet Quest inLies of P, players must show the NPCfour different Gesturesobtained while exploring the City of Krat. This Quest is time-consuming as people must defeat several bosses and make decent progress in the City of Krat to obtain all necessary Gestures.
To find the Broken Puppet, head to the Barren Swamp Stargazer to find the Puppet right next to it. The required Gestures are;Clap,Sad,Anger, andHappy. Additionally, each time players teach the Broken Puppet a Gesture, the NPC will give a reward.
How To Get The Clap Gesture
Upon defeating the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood inLies of P, enter their base where players can find a portrait of young Pinocchio inside one of the rooms to the left.
Take theportrait back to Geppetto inLies of Pat Hotel Krat. He thanks players and hangs it on the wall. Interact with the portrait to get theClapGesture.
Exploring the famous Rosa Isabelle Street,Pinocchio will stumble upon Julian the Gentleman inLies of Pnear the Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert Stargazer. He asks that players retrieve his wife’s items.
Upon finding Melody’s body and acquiring the Wedding Ring, give it back to Julian. To get theSadGesture, players mustLieand chooseI saw the message she left, saying she loves you. Telling the truth will lock out this Gesture in the current playthrough.
How To Get The Anger Gesture
The Anger Gesture is obtained along the way as there’s no Side Quest to complete. Simply defeat the CorruptedParade Master inLies of P, then speak to Antonia to receive theAngerGesture.
How To Get The Happy Gesture
There are many merchants spread around theCity of Krat inLies of P. Near theArche Abbey Outer WallStargazer, players can find Test Subject 826 standing next to a fire brazier. Speak with him to get theHappyGesture. After teaching the Broken Puppet all the Gestures, speak with it one more time to get aQuartz.
