Who is Bracken in Lethal Company?
A monstrous creature, Bracken, is known to appear in any facility and is easily recognizable by its glowing white eyes and fern-like spines on its back. This intelligent monster prefers to hunt single players, making it crucial for them to stick together to avoid being attacked from behind and having their necks snapped. The best way to counter Bracken is to avoid staring at it for more than a second, as a quick glance will scare it off but staring for 5 seconds or more will provoke it to start hunting the person who did it.
If Bracken manages to kill one of the players, he will start running away with their body until he gets away from therest of the team. After that, he will hide the body in a random place he likes, also called the Bracken Room. Some players believe that the Bracken Room is an empty room with brown walls and a metal floor, but contrary to popular rumors, this is not the case, as Bracken will spawn and hide the bodies of players in completely random places.
How to Find the Bracken Room in Lethal Company
To locate the Bracken Room and recover the deceased team member’s body, the team requires a player assigned to monitor the ship’s radar. This player must closely observe Bracken when he assaults a teammate and carries the body to his room to determine where he will abandon the victim. Then, the radar player should wait for Bracken to move away from the teammate’s body before guiding the remaining teammates to retrieve it.
Keep in mind that this can be very dangerous because Bracken usually takes the bodies to the opposite end of the facility from the players, and by the time the players get there, Bracken canattack them again or even other monsters. However, it can be worth it because the returned body of the killed players will help the team avoid the penalty.
