Summary
TheJujutsu Kaisenseries is known to have a variety of sorcerers, but none of them is as unique as the principal of Kyoto Jujutsu High, Yoshinobu Gakuganji. Yoshinobu seems like an old man with a bald head and walks around with an air of authority since he is a part of the jujutsu higher-ups.
Although Yoshinobu does not appear much in the series, his cursed energy speaks for himself. Even at old age, Yoshinobu is able to generate immense amounts of cursed energy using his technique and is recognized by jujutsu sorcerers as a powerful being in the jujutsu universe.

As an old person who refused to move with the times, Yoshinobu hated Satoru Gojo and his free-spirited nature and found him irritating. Gojo had no respect for older people and this irritated Yoshinobu. He was also one of the people who wantedYuji executed and was furiouswhen he found out that Gojo was responsible for delaying the execution. Even though he was a principal, Yoshinobu had a deceitful side to him. He wanted to use the Goodwill event as a chance to kill Yuji and expected his students to fulfill his wishes. However, not all of his students were in accordance with his wishes. This is seen when Aoi Todo states that he would kill Yoshinobu if he continued to order him around.
Yoshinobu wanted to kill Yuji for no other reason but to stop the resurrection of Sukuna. Yoshinobu also had a good side to him when the occasion called for it. When the students were attacked during the Goodwill event, he sprung into action and fought alongside Gojo for the sake of his students. Yoshinobu was also interested in finding out how Masamichi Yaga (who was the former principal of Tokyo Jujutsu High and Grade 1 sorcerer) created Panda using cursed energy, as Panda was a unique cursed corpse who possessed his own cursed energy.Yoshinobu believed that the creationof a powerful cursed corpse army would pose a threat to the world. During a conversation between Gojo and Yoshinobu, Gojo states that older sorcerers will have no say in the future and that their opinions will not matter to younger sorcerers. This angers Yoshinobu as Gojo also states that he will be one of the sorcerers who will oppose the rigid traditional rules older sorcerers have imposed.

Yoshinobu’s cursed technique came as a surpriseto all the first time his technique was revealed. Yoshinobu initially runs into Juzo Kumiya, who is a cursed user helping Geto invade the Goodwill event. Yoshinobu and Juzo then start battling each other after a heated argument and this is when Yoshinobu reveals his V-shaped electric guitar. Yoshinobu uses his body as an amp to emit powerful cursed energy towards his opponent, this is also known as a sound amplification technique.He plays rock riffs in orderto keep up the cursed energy and launches attacks on his opponents using cursed energy soundwaves.

As a veteran sorcerer, Yoshinobu is also able to detect cursed energy in his surroundings, he is also able to sense and gauge the level of cursed energy in his opponents. The cursed tool that Yoshinobu uses is his electric guitar, as he imbues it with cursed energy during battles. Yoshinobu is a formidable opponent and is also a respected authority in the jujutsu world,even though he may come offas a bad person, his reasoning is solely based on traditions set from his time. He was also responsible for the death of Masamichi Yaga because Masamichi refused to reveal the secret to creating cursed corpses.
