Jujutsu Kaisenhas seenthe incredible fight between Gojo and Sukunacontinue for months. A fight between these two characters was teased from the very beginning of the story and, although it took a lot of time for the story to reach this point, it was certainly worth it as their clash was some of the very best action that the fans have seen in the manga to date.

The fight between Gojo and Sukuna has continued for about 13 chapters now and that in itself means that it has lasted for over 3 months, which is incredible, when one thinks about it. The tides of the battle have shifted in the favor of both at various points, however, at the end of the day, there could be only one winner and recently, inJJKchapter 235, this winner was announced to be none other than Gojo Satoru.
The Scale Of Gojo Vs Sukuna
Gojo and Sukuna are, quite easily, the strongest of sorcerers in the history ofJJKitself. Sukuna was introduced to the fans as the King of Curses and was known to be the strongest sorcerer of the Heian Era. His strength was such that none of the sorcerers of the old time could even hope to contend against him. That is precisely why Sukuna is present even today in the story and he has certainly made his mark. He is a feared entity and even a single finger of his is enough to grant insurmountable power to someone who consumes them, as fans have already seen in the story. Sukuna, at full power, would certainly have a good shout to be the strongest in the entire series.
When it comes to Gojo,he was blessed with immense talent right from birth.For the first time in 400 years, someone in the Gojo Family was born with both Limitless as well as the Six Eyes. Only with Six Eyes can the Innate Technique of Limitless be fully explored. It is believed that when Gojo was born, the world shifted quite a bit, and that in itself was proof of the fact that Gojo would go on to become a monstrous fighter. His incredible ability when coupled with the amazing mind that he possessed resulted in the monstrous fighter that fans know today.
As such, the conflict between Gojo and Sukuna was the most important in the entire series. This fight was the clash of the two strongest characters and defeat was not an option for either of them. That is precisely what made this fight so special, as the stakes were completely off the charts.
How Gojo Fought Against Sukuna
The fight between Gojo and Sukuna was certainly one where he had to struggle a lot. That was a given, especially when fighting againstthe strongest of the Heian Era.There is no denying that Gojo was incredibly strong, however, fighting against someone as strong as Sukuna only meant that he would have to go all out from the get-go. That is precisely what fans saw when he opened the fight with a 120% Purple. The fight continued over the course of the chapters and both of them tried to open their domain and press superiority over the other multiple times.
Fans saw Gojo’s Unlimited Void shatter multiple times and, at the same time, Gojo also took the brunt of Malevolent Shrine, having to rely on Reverse Cursed Technique to undo the damage dealt to him. By all means, a normal sorcerer would already be dead, however, Gojo’s incredible healing ensured that he stayed in the fight.

All that healing did not come without a price, however. As the fight continued, it was quite clear to see that Gojo was actually struggling to keep his healing up. Not only did it slow down, but it took a heavy toll on his body and he couldn’t replenish his burnt-out Cursed Energy anymore. This would have given Sukuna the perfect opportunity to wrap this fight up, however, Unlimited Void did its job, even if it just landed for 10 seconds, and damaged Sukuna to a point where he could not access Malevolent Shrine anymore.
Gojo In A 3 Vs 1
In the second round of the fight, Gojo was largely seen having the upper hand, that is, until the fight turned into a three-on-one battle. While Gojo had the advantage until this point, Sukuna started bringing out one trump card after another. Mahoraga, the Divine General, was his ultimate trump card in this fight. He wanted him to get used to the Limitless and then tear Satoru apart a bit at the time. Sadly for him, Gojo fared quite well against the Divine General, even though he ended up losing one of his arms to him. To make things even worse,Sukuna made use of the 10 Shadows Techniqueto create a fusion beast called Agito. This beast possessed tremendous healing and, while not as strong as Mahoraga, it certainly was enough to tilt the tides of the battle in Sukuna’s favor once again.
In a three-on-one battle, Gojo largely struggled and was on the receiving end of a lot of heavy blows. He ended up losing his arm, however, as soon as that happened, a switch flipped in his head and he went on the offensive. Gojo’s incredible battle intellect was highlighted in this clash right from that moment onwards. He is not just someone blessed with an incredible Cursed Technique and Six Eyes. His battle intellect is also completely out of this world. Eventually, Gojo struck back and used the power of Maximum Output: Blue to crush Agito by constricting the space around him.
The Winner Of Gojo Vs Sukuna
As the battle dropped from a 3-on-1 to a 2-on-1, Sukuna immediately realized that he was now on the back foot.Mahoraga was his only trump cardin this fight and he knew if Gojo got another Purple hit in, he would not be able to continue fighting. As such, his goal was to get Mahoraga to adapt to Red and then finish off Satoru. His intuition that Gojo would use Red was absolutely spot on, however, Gojo had an elaborate plan in his mind. Instead of firing Red at Mahoraga, Gojo fired it in a way where he made it appear as if it was aimed at him, but it was actually aimed at the remnants of the Maximum Output: Blue that he previously launched at Agito. Combining the two infinities gave rise to Hollow Purple and this is one of the strongest techniques of Gojo that the fans know of.
Immediately, Sukuna realized that this was going to be fatal. Gojo made this Purple explode and a large portion of Shinjuku was completely vaporized. Gojo himself was blown up, however, the fact that he launched several Black Flashes on his targets meant that his RCT had refilled and he could heal himself at a fast rate once again. Meanwhile, Sukuna lost one of his hands, Mahoraga, as well as the ability to use Domain Amplification. Furthermore, he did not have enough healing power in him to reverse the damage caused by Gojo and, by all means, he was finished. Gojo was ultimately declared the winner of the fight and that is precisely how this clash ended up concluding.
