Summary
Sukuna is one of the strongest characters to have ever lived in the world ofJujutsu Kaisen. He’s known to be the strongest sorcerer in history and he has proven this time and again. Sukuna is a threat strong enough to earn the label of King of Curses and his strength is far greater than any other character in the entire series.
Over the years, fans have seen Sukuna engage in several incredible fights where he has displayed his amazing skill as a fighter. Of course, the best from Sukuna is yet to come, however, he has already done more than enough and fought some incredibly amazing battles.
7Megumi Fushiguro
Arc: Fearsome Womb Arc
Sukuna fought against Megumi quite early into the series after he got Yuji to agree to a Binding Vow. In his fight against Megumi, Sukuna was utterly dominant, however, it must be noted that he was extremely impressed by the talent that the latter possessed. This led to him changing his strategy and he made his eventual goal to take control of Megumi’s body.
Sukuna fought this fight incredibly well and completely outclassed Megumi. At the same time, he also gave some advice to Megumi and reminded him that as long as he didn’t risk his life truly and went wild, he could never hit high levels as a fighter.
6Ryu Ishigori
Arc: Culling Game Arc
In the Culling Game arc, Sukuna ended up fighting against Ryu Ishigori. This fight did not last too long and Sukuna launched a powerful dismantling attack at him at first. This attack was strong, however, Ryu ended up surviving it without much trouble. The second attack was incredibly powerful, however, and completely chopped his face up into many parts.
This just goes to show how strong Sukuna is, given that Ryu Ishigori was a character that many other strong sorcerers were struggling to take on in combat. Even Yuta wasn’t able to deal with him easily and the fact that Sukuna did within a few moments just goes to show how truly overpowered he is.
5Jogo
Arc: Shibuya Arc
Jogo ended up taking part in a fight against Sukunaduring the Shibuya Arc. This arc was incredibly exciting for the fans to witness and it featured many incredible battles, some of which were fought by Sukuna himself. As soon as Sukuna took control of Yuji’s body, he engaged in combat against Jogo.
Fans already know that Jogo is an incredibly powerful Special Grade Curse, however, he was not able to compete in a fight against Sukuna. In the end, Jogo was defeated by Sukuna with his very own pyrokinetic abilities, and that just goes to show that the King of Curses is incredibly cocky as well, since he’s defeated Jogo at his very own game.
4Yorozu
Yorozu fought against Sukuna and gave him an incredibly difficult fight during the Culling Game arc. She wanted to show Sukuna the true meaning of love, however, she ended up failing at doing that and died. Of course, even though she died, that certainly doesn’t mean that she didn’t fight well. In fact, she certainly did land some incredible attacks on Sukuna, some of which even hurt him and this is proof enough that Yorozu was quite a strong fighter herself.
Her speed was incredibly immense, although her strength output wasn’t all that great. Nonetheless, this is a fight that Sukuna ended up winning, once again.
3Kashimo
Kashimo is yet another powerful characterwho fans know is incredibly overpowered. He took on Sukuna in combat in the Culling Game arc and did fairly well. At this point, Sukuna was already weakened following his battle against Gojo.
Kashimo unleashed his Cursed Technique in the fight against Sukuna and overpowered him to an extent. However, Sukuna then took his true form and completely ended him in a bunch of attacks.
2Mahoraga
Mahoraga was a difficult character for Sukunato take on in combat. This fight happened towards the end of the Shibuya arc. Mahoraga was seen tanking quite a lot of powerful Sukuna attacks. In fact, it even landed a few blows on him. Sukuna’s attacks were getting adapted quite quickly by this shikigami, and in the end, he decided to take it down with a single powerful technique so that it wouldn’t get the chance to adapt.
This fight was incredibly exciting for the fans and certainly one of the hardest that Sukuna has ever fought.
1Gojo Satoru
By far,the strongest character that Sukuna has ever faced is Gojo.Gojo and Sukuna fought for a long time in the manga and for the vast majority of the fight, Sukuna was clearly on the backfoot. This fight should have been won by Gojo technically, however, because the author could not let Sukuna get defeated so early, especially by Gojo, the former won the battle.
Sukuna was certainly given a run for his money and it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that he was matched for the entire fight. Furthermore, the decisions taken by the author during the fight are quite questionable and fans have pointed that too.
