The sorcerers that fans have seen inJJKhave various abilities, ranging from quite weak and useless ones to overpowered ones, such as the Limitless.
Of course, there are also techniques that fans do not pay all that much attention to but are overpowered as well. These are the underrated techniques in the world ofJJKand some of them are surely worth more attention.
5Construction
User: Mai
Construction is quite an inefficient technique that exists in the world ofJJKand is the innate ability of none other than Mai of the Zenin Family. Unlike Maki, she did have cursed energy from birth, however, her body was way too weak, and at the same time, her usage of cursed technique was never special, to begin with.
Mai was able to utilize her cursed energy to create anything, and during the Goodwill Event, her limit was creating one bullet. Doing so left her exhausted and this just goes to show that this technique was incredibly inefficient. However, the weakness isn’t in the technique itself but in Mai. Unfortunately, Mai did not have all that great cursed energy reserves. Under someone with massive cursed energy reserves, such as Gojo, Yuta, or even Sukuna, this technique could have been absolutely incredible. Furthermore, if this person would have had Reverse Cursed Technique, then they could essentially utilize possible nukes with such power. Furthermore, a limited imagination also restricts what the user can and cannot construct. This cursed technique in itself is quite good, however, the user needs to be better.
4Black Bird Manipulation
User: Mei Mei
Black Bird Manipulation is the cursed technique of Mei Mei, who, as fans know, is a Grade 1 Sorcerer. Mei Mei played a somewhat significant role in the Shibuya arc, where her cursed technique was shown in full action. Mei Mei could use the power of her crows to scout many areas and gain all the important information that she needed.
When using Blackbird, she could even take down a Special Grade Curse in a single hit and that just goes to showcase this incredible ability.Only Gojo Satoru has survived a hit from this techniqueand that goes to show that the strength of this technique was quite immense. Once again, this is a very versatile and useful technique and while it might not be the best suited for combat, Mei Mei has shaped it in a way where it absolutely can be lethal as well. Perhaps, under a better user, this technique could be even more dangerous.
3Straw Doll Technique
User: Nobara Kugisaki
Nobara’s Straw Doll Technique is quite dangerous and it might just be one of the most overpowered abilities that fans have seen inJJK. In particular, the Resonance ability of this Innate Technique is what makes it very dangerous. Essentially, by establishing a connection with her target, Nobara can then use her Straw Doll as a proxy to deal damage to her targets. This gives her limitless range and allows her to injure her enemies from anywhere in the blink of an eye.
What’s even more dangerous is the fact that she can also use dangerous techniques in combination with this,such as Black Flash, and deal grievous injuries to her enemies. She also has other powerful techniques, such as Hairpin, with which she can use explosive cursed energy that exceeds all the limits. Although this technique was amazing, it could have become even stronger had Nobara lived longer. Regardless, this is one of the most underrated techniques that fans have seen in JJK and its power was such that even Mahito couldn’t defend himself from it.
2Boogie Woogie
User: Aoi Todo
Boogie Woogie is the Innate Technique of Aoi Todoand, in application, it is quite a simple technique but that is what makes it very special as well. This technique allows him to swap places with anyone with the clap of his hands.
He could swap his own position with others, or, he could swap the position of two other beings with the clap of his hands, as long as they have cursed energy over a certain level. This did great to disorient his enemies. When combined with the incredible strength and cursed energy control that he developed over the years, Todo became an unstoppable force. Against Mahito, he showcased the full potential of this technique and this made him incredibly overpowered.
1Cursed Speech
Users: Inumaki Family, Yuta Okkotsu
The Cursed Speech of the Inumaki family is an amazing ability that is also very dangerous. Essentially, it forces whoever hears it to obey their command, or forces an action on them, however, at the same time, it also puts great strain on the throat of the user, making them cough up blood if the command issued is too great or dangerous.
However, under someone with more cursed energy or better control over the power, and especially the ability to utilize reverse cursed technique,this Cursed speech can be a deadly weapon.
