As it turns out, of the millions ofElden Ringgamers, a few are very talented artists. Numerous pieces of fan art have gone viral on the internet since the game was released, depicting some famous in-game characters. OneElden Ringplayer created a Sir Gideon Ofnirfan art, which shows the popular NPC surrounded by books.

Following the footsteps of these art enthusiasts, anotherElden Ringplayer has shown their creative talent with some innovative fan art. This fan art includes one of the most famous bosses, Malenia, in a rather unorthodox and peculiar outfit. Reddit user Riisiwaanzz imagined Malenia in a futuristic setting rather than the fantasy world ofElden Ring. The user has wittily named their creation “Mechalenia,” combining the words “mech” and “Malenia.” The fan art shows Malenia in metallic armor and face mask, which gives her a more robotic look. Meanwhile, the art also shows Malenia wearing her signature winged helm and wielding the katana known as the Hand of Malenia.
Even though Malenia is an optional boss inElden Ring, she is definitely among the most popular and toughest to beat. Like several otherElden Ringcharacters, Malenia also has a tragic backstory, having been afflicted by Scarlet Rot since birth which causes her to use prosthetic limbs. Despite this vast popularity, manyElden Ringfans are unaware of Malenia’s secrets, including her Scarlet Rot affliction and the mysterious circumstances of her birth.
While the majority of the Reddit community praised Riisiwaanzz’s fan art, some compared the art toGundam.Gundamare giant robots from the Japanese media franchise of the same name, including several TV series, mangas, video games, etc. While the Reddit user didn’t intentionally create the art similar toGundam, the gaming community could surprise everyone with such artwork in the future.
Elden Ringgamers are notoriously famous for combiningElden Ringwith other fictional universes in their fan art. Many of them went viral and received widespread acclaim, including a combination of Malenia and Princess Zelda, adepiction of Kirby inElden Ringarmor, and a portrayal of Thor and Mohg.
