Starfieldintroduces players to all kinds of interesting characters, butthe Hunter is arguably the pick of the bunch. He’s as intimidating as he is mysterious, and serves as one of the game’s two main antagonists; the other one being the Emissary. With this in mind, it’s only natural that players would be curious about whether it’s possible to get their hands on the Hunter’s rifle, which, unsurprisingly, perhaps, is one of the game’s very best weapons.

These people will likely be delighted to learn that it’s actually possible to get two of the Hunter’s weapons. The first is a Rare Laser Rifle known as Unrestrained Vengeance, while the second is a Legendary Laser Rifle that goes by the name of Unmitigated Violence. Better still, it’s actually relatively easy to get the Hunter’s guns inStarfield, though players will only be able to do so if they make the right choices at certain points in the game.
How to Get Unrestrained Vengeance in Starfield (Hunter’s Gun)
Although it is possible to encounter the Hunter in a few different places prior to the High Price to Pay main story mission, it’s here that players will get to learn what he’s really all about. Regardless of whether they choose tostay and defend the Lodge or go to the Eye, he’ll cause an ungodly amount of chaos, forcing players and their Constellation companions to flee the Lodge via The Well.
In order to get the Hunter’s Unrestrained Vengeance Laser Rifle, players will simply need todown the Hunter during the mission. It’s not actually possible to kill him here, but players can empty his health bar to slow him down for a few moments, and doing this at least once will lead to them getting the weapon once they return to their ship.

How to Get Unmitigated Violence in Starfield
Unmitigated Violence is better than Unrestrained Vengeance in just about every measurable way. However, in order to have a chance of obtaining it, players will need tochoose either the Emissary or no oneat the end ofthe Unearthed main story mission. They’ll also need toavoid skipping the final boss fight, which will be against the Hunter if players choose the Emissary or both the Hunter and the Emissary if they choose neither.
After beating the Hunter, players will be able to loot Unmitigated Violence from his corpse. Some players have reportedly been able to get the Hunter’s armor as well, though if this is possible, the chances of it dropping appear to be exceedingly low. Still, Unmitigated Violence is a more than fitting reward, with itsfantastic selection of weapon modsmaking it one of the most deadly guns inStarfield.
