How to Get the Banished Knight Set in Elden Ring
Boost Your Item Discovery to Increase Drop Chance
Unlike many ofElden Ringsarmor sets, theBanished Knightset is not acquired as a set. Unfortunately, players must kill Banished Knights, and collect each individual as item drops. So, the first goal should be to increase Item Discovery as much as possible. Use the following items:
Where to Find Banished Knights in Elden Ring
Stormveil Castle and Cathedral of Dragon Communion
Banished Knights are found in multiple areas, but there are two locations where it is easy to repeatedly kill a singleBanished Knight, then quickly rest at a site of grace. Using this method, along with boosting Item Discovery, it took roughly ten minutes to collect the entire set.
There are multiple forms of some armor pieces, which are distinguished by the ‘Altered’ label. The Banished Knight set cannot be altered byBoc the Seamster, or the players themselves. So, if you want the various forms of armor, you’ll have to kill a Banished Knight wearing the piece you want. This goes for the weapons they carry as well.
Stormveil Castle, Rampart Tower Site of Grace
While there are areas that have more Banished Knights, the Rampart Tower is the best location for the method outlined above. From the site of grace, turn around and head right out the door. Walk down the wooden staircase to find a Banished Knight at the bottom. With an Item Discovery level of 258, collecting the entire set was incredibly fast. If you are looking for other types of Banished Knights, head down to the chapel where Rogier was first encountered. From there, there are three Banished Knights in quick succession. However, the time it takes to kill them, then return to a site of grace, is not feasible when using time-sensitive items like the Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot.
Caelid, Cathedral of the Dragon Communion
On the southern edge of Caelid, you will find theCathedral of Dragon Communion. There is only one site of grace at this location, and you can hear the Banished Knight walking along the outside edge. This Banished Knight will drop the hooded version of the helm, and the Banished Knight Greatsword and Banished Knight Shield. Use the same method as above.
There are several Banished Knights atCastle Solin theMountaintops of the Giants. However, they arefar tougher than their counterparts in the south. They offer no greater chance of item drops, their only benefit being a higher rune yield. For this task, sticking to Stormveil Castle and the Cathedral of Dragon Communion is preferable.
