How To Farm Energy Activators In The First Descendant

Players will need to get their hands on 5 Intermediate Products to research an Energy Activator. These include Low-Carbon Activators, Conductive Metallic Foil, Heat Plasma Battery, Polyatomic Ion particles, and Energy Activator Blueprint.

Players should start researching an Energy Activator once they have enough resources, since it will take30 hours to complete. Players can farm more resources while one of these Energy Activators is being researched.

Low-Carbon Activators

These can be found in the Fallen Theater: Vulgus Strategic Outpost at the Kingston Location while the game is set on Hard. This item can drop from any monster encountered during this mission. This mission involves destroying various structures while enemies spawn in. This allows players to have plenty of chances to get some of this resource.

Conductive Metallic Foil

These can be found throughout the Vespers Location on both Normal and Hard difficulties. This item can drop from monsters encountered during missions, and players can cycle through these missions to prevent things from feeling stale. These can also be obtained from Encrypted Storage Boxes, but this is only an effective farming method if you have already unlocked Enzo. Making monster drops the better option for players who do not have Enzo.

Heat Plasma Battery

These can be found in theThe Haven and Old Mystery on both Normal and Hard difficulty. Both of these are at the Hegios Location. Like the materials prior, you will get this from monster drops and not by completing missions. Playing Old Mystery will let players progress to a part where the objective is “Destroy the scattered kuiper ore” and enemies will spawn endlessly for 5 minutes. This makes it the most effective way to get the most of this resource in the shortest amount of time.

Polyatomic Ion particles

These can be found throughout the Fortress Location while the game is set to Hard. Out of all these missions, the Command Relay mission in the Frozen Valley will be perfect, as it will just spawn enemies until its completion. Then you are able to replay the mission repeatedly.

Energy Activator Blueprint

This is the only Ultimate rarity item you will need, but luckily you only need 1 of them per Energy Activator. There are many different Amorphous materials you will be able to get Energy Activator Blueprints from. It is best to select one that offers multiple components that you are after rather than one that will potentially give you components you will never need and waste your time. Go to Access Info in your menu, and type “Energy Activator Blueprint” in the search bar. Rare will offer 3% while Ultimate will offer 6%.

This will list all of the Amorphous Materials that will give you a chance of getting it. Find one you like and select Acquisition Info to see which mission you will need to farm to get that material. Fight the relevant Colossi for that Amorphous Material. If you want to increase your odds, be sure to have a compatible Shape Stabilizer for that material.
