Alongside Version 2.0’s confirmed characters like Black Swan and Sparkle, the trailer showed the first official images of future characters like Aventurine, Firefly, and Sam among others. The segment even featured one of Penacony’s new cast members making a guest appearance, with upcoming character Sunday helping to showcase the teaser forStar Rail’s third playable world. Now, teased character Gallagher has seen details of his abilities leaked early.
A new leak from prominentHonkai: Star Railleaker Dimbreath has revealed the first details ofGallagher’s gameplay withinHonkai: Star Rail. The post teases Gallagher joining the game as a Fire character, with his Normal Attack dealing Fire damage and his Skill healing teammates based on his ATK stat. Gallagher’s Ultimate applies a special debuff to enemies,increasing Weakness Break damageas well as enhancing his Normal Attacks. Attacking enemies afflicted with Gallagher’s Ultimate debuff will also heal the character for a percentage of Gallagher’s ATK, with his own enhanced attacks healing all allies.
Gallagher’s kit suggests the character will play as an interesting mix of two ofHonkai: Star Rail’s main character classes. Gallagher’s kit takes elements of bothHonkai: Star Rail’s Abundance Path, focused around healing allies, and theNihility Path’s focus on debuffs. The leak also hints at some of the bonuses Gallagher will receive for reaching higher Eidolon levels, including Gallagher receiving an extra turn when using his Ultimate at E1 and bonus damage at E2. Gallagher’s release date forHonkai: Star Railhas yet to be confirmed.
