Hello Neighborfans have been anxiously awaiting news regarding a sequel for years now. TinyBuild’s spent its time making a variety ofHello Neighborspin-off projects, includingHello Neighbor: Hide & Seek,Secret Neighbor, andHello Engineer. But tinyBuild is now ready to take its next big step forward and announceHello Neighbor 2’s release date. Players will get the fullHello Neighbor 2game on December 6, but before then tinyBuild wants to share information about pre-orders and beta plans.
Beyond today’sHello Neighbor 2release date announcement, tinyBuild is excited to announce that pre-orders for the game are now open. What’s exciting about pre-orders being open is that they include immediate access to a beta version ofHello Neighbor 2.Hello Neighborfans can purchase either the standard or Deluxe Edition ofHello Neighbor 2, which both offer beta access. The Deluxe version ofHello Neighbor 2also includesearly accessto the full game, as well as three DLC packs available on launch day.

Pre-orderingHello Neighbor 2does come with an up-front price tag, however. The standard edition ofHello Neighbor 2will cost fans $39.99, while the Deluxe Edition ofHello Neighbor 2will cost $59.99. Those with cash to burn will also be pleased to hear thattinyBuildhas released some merch. A $20 Imbir plushie and aHello Neighbor 28 pin set for $65 are both now available.
As for the beta,Hello Neighborfans will be pleased, or perhaps torn, on its nature. TinyBuild confirmed that the beta forHello Neighbor 2will contain no spoilers for the full game. Players will be able to experience the entire creepy story ofHello Neighbor 2when it launches later this year, regardless of whether they play the beta. Some fans may have wanted a tease at what the Neighbor has been up to, what happened to his kids, or to theprotagonist of the firstHello Neighbor. They’ll just have to wait.
What theHello Neighbor 2beta does do is offer a unique simulation of what it will be like to play inHello Neighbor 2’s settingbut with none of the story context of the full game. In other words, it’s not a level or chapter pulled from the full game. It’s completely standalone.
It’s been over five years since the original release ofHello Neighborand the franchise has grown significantly since the stealth horror game went viral. The sequel now has a release date, it’s less than a year away from being in players' hands. It’s an exciting time to be aHello Neighborfan.
Hello Neighbor 2releases on December 6 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
