Before GungHo officially announced the release of theGrandia HD Collectionfor PlayStation and Xbox, some eagle-eyed fans on the ResetEra forum spotted that trophies for bothGrandiahad appeared on sites like Exophase and TrueTrophies, suggesting that the console would soon receive the games. The question was whether they would come in the form of PlayStation 2 emulation, part of the PS Plus Premium package, or if it would be the remastered versions.
After the first twoGrandiagames, Square Enix took over and published the subsequent titles,Grandia XtremeandGrandia 3, for the PlayStation 2.
